Women of Heart Awards (WOHA) handles the information you submit through this membership service. Questions, corrections, withdrawal of optional consent and account closure requests can be sent to info@womenofheartawards.com.
We collect your name, email, password hash, residence, mobile and optional WhatsApp details, membership type, application details and selected fields. We record the notice version, acceptance dates, optional consent preferences and account administration history. Passwords are never stored as plain text. Login protection uses hashed request identifiers.
We use these details to operate your account, assess candidate, winner, judge or sponsor applications, confirm awards, provide service messages and protect access. Candidate membership automatically becomes winner membership after an administrator confirms an award. Applications do not guarantee an award, judging appointment or sponsorship agreement.
Authorised WOHA administrators and relevant assessors may access information needed for their duties. Hosting providers process the service data. Only an approved public name, biography and award information may be published with your separate opt-in. Email, mobile and WhatsApp details are not included in public winner records. Promotional email and WhatsApp contact require separate optional choices. Selecting WhatsApp does not itself send a message. Hosting and authorised assessment may involve access across countries.
Membership information is held while the account and related application administration remain necessary. When you request closure, WOHA reviews deletion or anonymisation and any records that must be retained for an unresolved application, award verification or applicable obligations. Closure and data-rights requests are handled by the team; they are not automated. A password reset link expires after 30 minutes. Old login-throttling entries are periodically removed.
You can update contact details, withdraw public-profile permission and change email or WhatsApp marketing preferences in My membership. Withdrawing public-profile permission hides the linked membership winner record. Contact WOHA for access, correction, deletion, other objections or concerns; available rights depend on applicable rules. Required information and agreements are needed to create an account. Optional publicity or marketing consent is not required.
Provide accurate information and submit only material you are authorised to share. Keep your credentials private. Do not submit sensitive personal information or private third-party records through evidence links. Public applications cannot create administrator privileges. Judge, winner and sponsor roles remain subject to review. Award decisions belong to WOHA. Sponsors do not purchase or guarantee awards. Judges must protect confidentiality and disclose conflicts. WOHA may suspend misuse and investigate inaccurate submissions. This registration does not take payment or form a sponsorship contract.
