The Women of Heart Awards (WOHA) are brought to you in association with the Women of Heart Foundation (WOHF). WOHF is a UK-based charitable organisation that inspires people to get involved and which promotes, educates, empowers, and raises funds for women and children on a global basis.
WOHA has a clear mission to celebrate those very special women who are making a real difference. These women inspire love and kindness, encourage others to give back, and empower and educate young girls so they can become self-reliant and grow into the leaders of the future.
But the awards go far further than simple recognition; we also have the vision to use this platform to create positive changes in society as well as worldwide.
WOMEN OF HEART AWARDS (WOHA)
Women of Heart Awards-WOHA 88 London is a celebration of the beating hearts of our humanitarian world.
And with an underlying appreciation for all the work women contribute to society, Woha was born as an essential award celebrating our universal sisterhood’s innumerable deeds. Women of Heart Awards holds to a humanist tenant of the immutable right of equality and dignity for all human beings. Baked into its ideology is the immovable belief of human goodness, as often expressed in the countless civic-minded deeds of numerous women.
We have always felt the need to shine a light on the daily heroism of everyday women. Our objective is not only to shed such light via our award but also to be a lightning rod for disseminating information related to female rights and empowerment in its quest to support female initiatives in the realm of education and well-being plus its promotion of leadership and development.
From hamlets to street blocks, Women of Heart are everywhere, from women fighting for equality to the grassroots activists fighting to give another woman an opportunity with integrity. Our selection process for choosing candidates mirrors the legal and forward-thinking nature of our organization. We honor candidates by their good deeds, not only by their name recognition.
