Introduction

Jawahar Alvi, also known as Juhi, is a Doctorate-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a vision to provide high-quality services to children and adults diagnosed with developmental, physical, and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Originally from Pakistan, she holds a Master's in English Literature and migrated to the United States in 2001.

Starting her career in a Montessori setting, Juhi spent over six years working in Early Childhood Education, continuously improving her skills. She later earned a certification in Early Childhood Education from the College of DuPage and pursued a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education at Dominican University. Finding her true passion, Juhi shifted her focus to Special Education, ultimately completing her degree and becoming a certified Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS.1) in Illinois.

Career and Educational Achievements

Juhi’s dedication led her to complete post-graduate studies in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Southern Illinois University, earning her BCBA certification in 2014. She is currently completing a Doctorate program in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. Over the years, she has gained experience working with public schools, providing ABA therapy to children with Autism, and even teaching graduate-level courses in Special Education at Dominican University.

Juhi’s expertise has taken her to many parts of the world. As a consultant, she has worked in the Middle East, founded RIFE USA in Dubai, and expanded to Bahrain. Today, she is the founder and CEO of BASES in Pakistan, as well as the CEO of Once Upon Rehabilitation Services in Chicago. Additionally, Juhi is a curriculum developer for the International Behavior Analyst Master Levels program, where she continues to disseminate ABA knowledge globally.

Global Impact and Recognition

Juhi’s work has made a significant global impact. To date, her organization serves nearly 400 children worldwide, and she has trained around 4,000 professionals and parents across countries like Pakistan, the U.K., Canada, Australia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, India, Nepal, and the UAE. Her exceptional contributions have earned her three global awards for leadership in the USA.
